FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Karl’s Adventure is a private helicopter expedition company delivering high-intensity, high-end flights across Nunavik and the Torngat Mountains—built for real access, real wilderness, and unforgettable scale.

Are these tours or private flights?

These are true helicopter expeditions, not scripted tours. Every mission is private by design: one aircraft, one objective, your crew.

Where do you fly?

We fly deep into the Arctic backcountry—NORHTERN QUEBEC, NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR - tundra, fjords, coastal cliffs, glaciers, river valleys, and remote waterfalls across Nunavik and the Torngat region.

What helicopter do you use?

A high-performance Airbus AS350, chosen for power, precision, and capability in rugged remote terrain.

What experiences can I book?

Custom missions including scenic ridge runs, canyon drops, coastal passes, waterfall fly-bys, remote landings (conditions permitting), photography and filmmaking flights, wildlife-focused routes, and fly-in fishing expeditions.

What wildlife can we see?

Sightings are never guaranteed, but depending on season and location you may see caribou, wolves, musk ox, and in far northern coastal zones, polar bear potential.

Do you offer photography-focused flights?

Yes. We plan routes for light, angles, and timing—with slow passes and precision positioning for photographers and filmmakers.

Do you offer fishing adventures?

Yes—fly-in fishing missions can be built around Atlantic salmon, Arctic char, lake trout, and brook trout, depending on season and location.

Can we land and get out?

Often yes, conditions permitting. Landings depend on weather, terrain, safety, and regulations.

What if the weather is bad?

Weather rules the North. If conditions aren’t safe, we’ll delay, reroute, or reschedule—always prioritizing safety and the best possible experience.

How long are flights and how do we book?

Flights range from short high-impact missions to full custom days AND MULTI DAY TRIPS  To book, send your dates, group size, and priorities (waterfalls, wildlife, photography, fishing, etc.) and we’ll build the best route.
